Meet Doctors Greene and Wood

Ronald J. Greene, DDS

 

Dr. Greene received his undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree at the California State, Northridge in 1972. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific in 1975. He has practiced in the South Bay for the past 40 years with special interest on cosmetic, implants, and laser dentistry. His philosophy is that many dental procedures can be treated with minimal invasive dentistry and the Lasers in his practice have helped him achieve these goals. Dr Greene is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Western Los Angeles Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He has lectured on Implants to the London/Shepard Implant Study Club, he represents the Western Los Angeles Dental Society at SCROCS (Southern California Regional Occupational Center) meetings and keeps abreast of all of the latest innovations and technology in dentistry.

Heather G. Wood, DDS

 

Dr. Wood received her undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree at Loyola Marymount University. Her passion for dentistry led her to pursue obtaining her license as a Registered Dental Assistant. Dr. Wood then joined the Trojan Family receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene at USC. While working as a Dental Hygienist at Greene and Wood Family Dentistry, Dr. Wood also enjoyed teaching as a clinical instructor at USC. She went on to pursue a Master’s Degree in Gerontology, an invaluable education that has helped shape her treatment planning options for geriatric patients. Dr. Wood continued her pursuit of in-depth knowledge and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC. Dr. Wood was the recipient of the Western Society of Periodontology award for achievements in the field of Periodontics. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Western Los Angeles Dental Society.
